We are a phone service company and a monitoring company as well, giving us an edge to not only monitor your elevator phones with code compliance, but to monitor issues with your emergency phone system.  This will serve to streamline the monitoring with the service of your emergency communications system, ensuring that the system is operating optimally with minimal downtime should a failure arise.  Most call centers are outsourced to companies that do not understand the difference between a faulty phone unit calling out versus a false alarm or phone test.  Coss believes it is of great importance to not only have a monitoring team with the ability to respond to entrapped passengers quickly, but to also have the know how to recognize an erratic and troubled phone unit.  We have a service team standing by should service be needed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  Safety is our #1 priority and we strive to provide you with the best service and communications products available so you can rest assured that help will be there.

A La Carte - Maintenance Package.
Do you have an emergency phone that is fairly new or a monitoring company that you are under contract with? No problem...keep your emergency phone in place and/or use your current monitoring company.  With Coss, we can provide you with a reduced rate maintenance contract for your current phone using your existing monitoring company.  Coss Communications has been servicing and installing emergency phones since 1985, so rest assured we have the experience and know how to service and monitor your existing system. 

How Might Our Services Be Able to Reduce Your Costs?
For customers who have more than one emergency phone, we recommend utilizing a TDE Series Consolidation System.  With the TDE Consolidator, we are able to utilize a single telephone line for multiple emergency phone units...up to 256 devices on a single consolidator!  For buildings with multiple emergency phones, the cost of having a dedicated telephone line for each phone unit can add up quickly.  The TDE consolidator can consolidate your telephone lines down to zero or just one, if you would like to have the ability to dial outside of your property. 

Our TDE Series Consolidator System allows multiple elevator phones, gate phones, entry phones and other telephone devices to communicate within a building, even without a need for a dedicated telephone line.  With the addition of our new digital Master Station at Security and a USB Power Station, the TDE System will function as an internal intercom system at all times, with zero disruption.  If power to the building is lost, you will still have the ability to operate all devices connected to the system. Elevator phones, gate phones, garage phones, etc. will all operate properly when power is lost to the building.  Other locations that benefit from having a master station installed are fire control rooms and elevator machine rooms; in some cities these devices are required in these locations.  Master stations give the Fire Marshal and Elevator Mechanics the ability to call into a nonoperational elevator from their associated Machine Room and Fire Control Room.  If however you would like a telephone line connected to the system, you are given the added ability to communicate not only inside the building but outside as well.
